A 10-Q is a comprehensive performance report that public companies are required to file quarterly with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The 10-Q report is generally not audited.

The 10-Q reports relevant information to investors regarding a company’s financial position. No filing is due after the fourth quarter because that is when the 10-K is filed.
